Properties:

Colorless monoclinal crystal or white crystal. Melting point 89℃. Boiling point: 330℃(decpmpostion). Easily dissolve in hot water, dissolve in cold water, carbinol, ethanol and liquid ammonia. Its solution assumes neutrality. Easy to deliquesce. Give off heat and self ignite mixing with organic matter, has danger of fire and explosion.

Served as dehydrating agent of concentrating nitric acid. Used in making detonator, firework and material of other nitrate. Used for preparation of catalyst. Served as strong oxidant, podzolic agent of wheat in agriculture.
