Lead Cyanurate
Chemical Name:
Synonym: cyanuric acid lead
CAS No.: 53846-29-0
Molecular Formula: Pb3(C3N3O3)2nPb(OH)
Properties: Lead Cyanurate as a white powder, density 6.21, melting point higher than 350°C, volatile less due to its molecular structure containing a stable triazine ring, and compared to the traditional heavy metal salt stabilizer, lead cyanurate has many excellent properties:
1, Good compatibility with other components in the processing of PPVC and PVC.
2, Reduce the Tg, Tm and rotation balance moment of the PVC and make performance better and processing easilier. Even small dosage can greatly improve the dynamic and static thermal stability of the PVC.
3, Improve the mechanical and anti-electrical properties, enhance the flame retardant properties of PVC.
Specifications:
Appearance: White powder
Lead content (as Pb): 81 ± 2%
Nitrogen content: 3-5%
Moisture: ≤ 0.5%
Residue on sieve (200 mesh): ≤ 5%
Application:
Lead Cyanurate as PVC heat stabilizers has been widely used in many countries. When used in plastic industry, it can apparently save cost and create considerable economic effect compared with tribasic lead sulfate and dibasic lead phosphite. Therefore, it is an ideal substitute for tribasic lead sulfate and dibasic lead phosphite.
Packing: 25kg, plastic woven bags.
