Monosodium Glutamate, commonly known as MSG, is a sodium salt of L-glutamic acid. MSG is used to intensify flavors of foods and produced by a bacterial fermentation process with starch or molasses.  It is not only a direct taste enhancer but also a complex flavor enhancer for gravies, meats, poultry, sauces, and in other combinations. It is certified Kosher, Halal, and allergen free. It imparts the fullness and impact of taste and the mildness and complexity of flavor. By replicating these natural taste components, it provides the exceptional ability to improve the taste characteristics of your processed foods. It is also used as an organic intermediate and to enhance the taste of tobacco.
