Iron Oxide Red
Identification:
Chemical Name: Iron(III) oxide; Ferric oxide
Color Index: C.I. Pigment Red 101
CAS NO.: 1309-37-1;1317-60-8;1332-37-2
Molecular Formula: Fe2O3
Iron Oxide Pigment has excellent physical and chemical properties, featured by strong covering power, high tinting strength, soft color, stable performance, alkali-resistant ability, a certain degree of stability towards weak acid and dilute acid and high performance in light resistance and weather fastness. They are insoluble in water and organic solvents and have excellent anti-rust and UV protection functions.
Iron Oxide Red is widely used for the coloring of paint, rubber, plastics, building materials, ceramics and enamels, precision metal instruments, optical glass, stationery, leather, magnetic alloys and high-grade alloy steel.
